Welcome to my embryo web site, I am learning to build this myself so please excuse me if it doesn’t work properly yet.

I am slowly adding more information as time, and expertise, allows.

   I mainly supply laser cut components, ‘kits & bits’, for  wagons  in 1 gauge,  2 ½”,  3 ½”, 5” and 7 ¼” gauges and perhaps soon 0 and 10 ¼” gauges. These are only in standard gauge so far but narrow gauge models are being developed. However once I have drawn a part in one scale it can be converted easily to any other scale. Also it is fairly easy to modify my standard wagon parts to suite the minor differences between different prototypes. Please ask.

My own modelling is in 7 ¼” gauge, hence the picture below taken at Stockholes Farm Miniature Railway in North Lincolnshire, England.  Many of the wagons shown are mine or are based on my ‘easy build’ chassis design.

I usually attend several exhibitions during the year, mainly Alexandra Palace, Harrogate and the Midlands, assisting my colleague Malcolm High on his Model Engineers Laser stand.  Many of my ‘kits& bits’ can be seen and  purchased there.

 

This is a  one man part time business so please allow time for emails to be read, orders processed, new models and drawings to be produced as well as helping run the home, and currently refurbish it, and walk the dog,  that’s usually around lunch time, see below. I have to get my priorities right.

 

I prefer to be contacted by email if possible but if you want to telephone the best time to contact me is between 9.30 and 12.30 then 2.30 till 5.30, Monday to Thursday and 9.30 to 12.30 Friday.

NEWS UPDATE

 

So far this year I have helped on Malcolm High’s Model Engineers Laser stand at the Alexandra Palace and Harrogate Exhibitions. Unusually several people enquired if we did anything in 0 gauge. Not much so far. If there is an interest in our laser cut kits etc. in 0 gauge please get in touch and let us know.

I also went to the 3 gauge show in Milton Keynes. There seems to be a growing interest in 2 1/2” and 3 gauge. Again please let us know what you would like that we can laser cut. The next exhibition will be the Midlands at the Fosse in October. Orders for that to me by the middle of September please.

 

Also note that the ‘Bits’ price list is currently out of date and I am revising it. The price of white metal has increased significantly.

 

I am having trouble getting my web hosting site to accept these up dates, this is the fourth recently. The last three did not appear even though they apparently uploaded satisfactorily. So far my attempts at correcting the problem with instructions from the host site have failed. I hope this one does better.

 

Finally sorry to anyone who is waiting for kits or parts etc. I have been suffering back trouble and sciatica for a couple of months making it difficult to sit at the computer and concentrate on work.
