My own modelling is in 7 1/4” standard gauge. I am a member of Stockholes Farm Miniature Railway. This is in North Lincolnshire just a couple of miles from Junction 2 of the M180. Post code DN9 1PH for the sat nav or Google Maps etc. This is a private railway but is open to the public on Bank Holiday Mondays. There is a sign out at the end of the drive when the railway is open.
There is now quite a large fleet of wagons on the railway. Junior members, and not so junior members, enjoy shunting and running freight trains as a change from the more usual passenger hauling.
